As part of this year's Grass Roots programme we have commissioned five artists to present work in public spaces in the town of Muine Bheag. You are invited to join the Muine Bheag Arts team for a guided tour of these public artworks by artists Marian Balfe, Angela Burchill, Colm Kealy-Tabbal, Gemma Kearney and Niall McCallum.

Quantum Foam
Descent of Waves I Audio Performance

Quantum Foam will present a new performance on Bád Keppel in Muine Bheag. Join us on the banks of the River Barrow to enjoy a set of drone frequencies in collaboration with the environmental sounds of the river.

Tufting Workshop

Artist Cillian Moynihan invites you to produce a collective textile piece through chance and collaboration.The workshop will offer an introduction to the traditional craft of hand tufting.
